On July 20th, the WSOP Circuit will resume.
The tournament at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, will begin on Wednesday, July 20, immediately following the end of the 2018 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
Twenty-five destinations have been planned for the trip, so this is only the beginning. Ten more will be revealed on WSOP.com in the following weeks.
"The World Series of Poker is back with the circuit returning in just short of a month," stated Ty Stewart, Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the World Series of Poker.
According to the tour's organisers, "with record-breaking attendance so far this summer, we expect a huge response to the full-scale return of our regional mid-stakes tour."
Fans of the circuit will recognise many of the destinations, although the Grand Victoria Casino in Chicago is a new addition, while Harveys Lake Tahoe in Nevada and Caesars Southern Indiana are also returning as "heritage" locations; Caesars Southern Indiana is also the tour's last stop.
The majority of the tournament's stops will kick off on Thursdays, with the four-day Main Events kicking off on the second Friday.
Following its stop at Choctaw Casino Resort on August 2, the circuit will visit Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina on Thursday, August 4, before making its way back to Oklahoma for a stop at Hard Rock Tulsa on Friday, August 17. The last date of the trip will be May 22nd, 2023.
The following year's World Series of Poker will feature a Tournament of Champions for the champions of both the live and online circuits.
