LeoVegas's gambling licence in Denmark has been renewed.
The Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden) has extended LeoVegas Group's licence, making the company a mobile gambling specialist listed in Stockholm. LeoVegas will have the opportunity to continue operating online casinos and sports betting in Denmark's expanding market until 2026 thanks to the commencement of five-year licences in the fall.Since receiving its first Danish licence in 2016, when it initially entered the market, LeoVegas has grown to become one of the major operators there. They want to be the "King of Casino" and have products throughout the gambling spectrum, including traditional casino games, live dealer options, bingo, and sports betting. In an effort to curb the growth of the online gambling industry, regulators in Denmark have had a year to adopt a new code of conduct.According to CEO of LeoVegas Group Gustaf Hagman, "Our Danish launch was one of our most successful, and the fact that we are now one of the largest operators in this market is testament to that."I am pleased that LeoVegas, an ethical and sustainable operator, can keep providing the best gaming experience to clients in Denmark.LeoVegas plans to grow and expand strategically in regulated areas across the world. In addition to Sweden, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, Ireland, and Malta are all nations where LeoVegas has obtained gambling licence.
